After breakfast at your hotel, your journey begins with a guided exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most fertile and breathtaking regions in the Peruvian Andes. Located about one hour northwest of Cusco, this valley is renowned for its dramatic mountain landscapes, traditional villages, and remarkable archaeological sites.

Our first stop is Chinchero, a charming Andean town known for its Inca foundations, colonial church, and vibrant textile heritage. Here, you will visit a local weaving center where skilled artisans demonstrate ancient techniques such as hand-spinning alpaca wool, natural dyeing with native plants, and traditional Andean weaving patterns. This cultural experience offers a meaningful connection to living Inca traditions.

Next, we continue to Moray, one of the most intriguing archaeological sites in Peru. Its impressive circular terraces are believed to have functioned as an agricultural laboratory, showcasing the Incas’ advanced understanding of microclimates and crop experimentation. The surrounding highland scenery provides spectacular panoramic views of the Andean plateau.

A short drive away are the iconic Maras Salt Mines, a stunning network of more than 2,000 salt pools cascading down the mountainside. This ancient salt extraction system, in use since pre-Inca times, remains active today and creates one of the most photogenic landscapes in the Sacred Valley.

We then descend into the heart of the valley to visit Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns in Peru. During the guided tour, you will explore its monumental terraces, ceremonial temples, and original cobblestone streets that are still inhabited. Ollantaytambo beautifully blends history, architecture, and ancestral energy.

In the late afternoon, you will board the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). The scenic 1 hour and 30-minute journey follows the Urubamba River, offering spectacular views of towering mountains, lush vegetation, and dramatic Andean canyons.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, the gateway to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you may optionally visit the natural hot springs, a perfect way to relax and recharge before your unforgettable visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

After a restful night in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), your day begins early with a visit to the breathtaking Machu Picchu Citadel, one of the most iconic travel destinations in the world and a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Your guide will take you to the bus station for a 25–30 minute ride along the winding mountain road leading to the entrance of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Entry is granted according to the official time slot and circuit indicated on your ticket, and you must present the original passport or identification used at the time of booking.

Inside the archaeological site, you will enjoy a 2 to 3-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring its most significant areas, including the agricultural terraces, sacred temples, ceremonial spaces, and panoramic viewpoints perfect for unforgettable photographs. Throughout the visit, you will gain insight into the history, architecture, and spiritual significance that make Machu Picchu one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

After the guided experience, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch (not included) or explore the charming town at your own pace.

In the afternoon, you will board the panoramic train back to Cusco, traveling through the spectacular landscapes of the Urubamba River Valley. The total journey takes approximately 4 hours, including the train ride to Ollantaytambo and the ground transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
