How To Make The Booking for the Premium Inca Trail 4 Days?

Booking your Premium Inca Trail 4-Day adventure with Allyn Pacha Peru Tours is straightforward. First, simply click the BOOKING button and choose the departure date that works best for your 2026 Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Once you’ve selected your date, make a deposit of $200 per person to secure your spot.

After your deposit is processed, just send us a clear copy or a good photo of each traveler’s passport. This is essential for purchasing your official entry tickets and confirming your Inca Trail permit.

As soon as everything is in order, we’ll send you a full, guaranteed confirmation of your Premium Inca Trail 4-Day tour.

What happens to the remaining balance?

For the 4-Day Premium Inca Trail, you can settle the remaining balance in the way that feels easiest for you. Most travelers choose to pay in cash (USD or soles) about two days before departure, once they’ve met their guide and feel fully prepared for the adventure.

If you prefer paying online with Visa or MasterCard, that’s possible too. Just make the payment at least one week before the trip and keep in mind there’s a 5% service fee applied by the bank. When you’re ready, simply request the secure payment link and we’ll send it to you.

Can I change the departure date after the permits have been purchased?

Sadly, no. Once your Premium Inca Trail 4-Day permits are issued, the Peruvian government doesn’t allow any modifications—no changes of date, no transfers, and no refunds. Every permit is tied to your personal information and to a specific departure.

If something comes up and you need to cancel, please remember that the deposit is non-refundable. For this reason, we always recommend choosing your travel dates carefully and booking only when you’re sure you can make the journey.

Do I need to bring my passport?

Yes, absolutely. You must show your original passport at the Inca Trail checkpoint, at the Machu Picchu entrance, and again when boarding the train.

It’s essential that the passport you bring matches the one used to book your Premium Inca Trail 4-Day permit. If you’re renewing your passport, just send us a copy of the old one as soon as possible and bring both passports with you on the trip. This ensures your permit remains valid and you won’t encounter any last-minute issues at the checkpoints.

    Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it. The Inca Trail is an unforgettable adventure, but it’s also a high-altitude, multi-day trek, and having travel insurance simply gives you peace of mind. A good policy covers things like altitude-related issues, unexpected delays, medical attention, or an emergency evacuation.

Think of it as an extra layer of protection, so you can focus on enjoying every moment of the trail instead of worrying about the “what ifs”.

Can I store my luggage at your office?

Of course. You’re welcome to leave your luggage with us, or at your hotel if you prefer—both options are completely free for our travelers.

While you’re enjoying your Classic Inca Trail experience, your belongings will be safely stored, waiting for you when you return from Machu Picchu. For the hike, bring only what you truly need; traveling light makes the entire journey more comfortable and enjoyable.

What is the train schedule for my ticket?

We usually reserve afternoon train tickets so you have enough time to enjoy your visit to Machu Picchu after completing the 4-Day Premium Inca Trail. The included service is on the Expedition or Voyager train, departing from Aguas Calientes around 2:30 PM or 2:55 PM, with a ride of about 1 hour and 40 minutes to the Ollantaytambo station.

Train times can fill up quickly, especially during the high season, and schedules depend on availability. To secure the departure time you prefer, it’s best to book your Premium Inca Trail as early as possible.

If you plan to spend an extra night in Aguas Calientes after the trek, we’ll schedule your train for the following day, giving you more flexibility and a wider range of departure options.
