Allyn Pacha Peru Tours: Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Allyn Pacha Peru Tours, we strive to provide our clients with the best possible travel experience. However, due to the regulations of the Ministry of Culture of Peru and the operating companies involved (such as train operators, hotels, and local service providers), certain services are strictly non-refundable. Please read our policies carefully:

1. Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets and Inca Trail Permits

For all tours related to Machu Picchu and Inca Trail treks, a mandatory deposit of USD 200.00 per person is required to confirm the reservation and secure the permits.
This amount does not include bank or payment processing fees (5%), which must be covered by the client.

Once purchased, Machu Picchu entrance tickets and Inca Trail permits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
No name changes or date changes are allowed, in accordance with regulations established by the Ministry of Culture of Peru.

The remaining balance must be paid as follows:

  • Cash payments: at least 48 hours prior to the tour start date, using clean, undamaged bills.
  • Online payments: must be completed at least 5 days before the tour, excluding bank or transaction fees.

Cancellations made after the full payment has been completed and before the tour start date are non-refundable.

2. Day Tours

For one-day tours not related to Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail, a non-refundable deposit of USD 50.00 per person is required to confirm the reservation, not included bank transfer commision.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 48 hours prior to the tour date.

  • Cancellations made on the same day of the tour are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellations made 24 hours before the tour date are eligible for a 30% refund of the total amount paid.

3. Tour Packages and Services

For our multi-day tour packages combined with different services, a non-refundable prepayment of USD 200.00 per person is required in order to confirm the reservation, not include bank transfer commision.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to the tour start date.

  • Cancellations made 29 days or more before the tour start date: Refund of 70%, excluding non-refundable costs such as permits, entrance tickets, or services already issued.
  • Cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the tour start date: Refund of 50% of the total amount paid.
  • Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the tour start date: Refund of 30% of the total amount paid.
  • Cancellations made 6 days or less before the tour start date: No refund will be granted.

4. Train Tickets (PeruRail & IncaRail)

  • Train tickets are subject to the policies of the operating companies.
  • In most cases, they are non-refundable but can be rebooked with a penalty fee depending on availability.

5. Hotels and Other Services

  • Subject to each provider’s policies. Some hotels or local services may apply additional penalties or allow rebooking.

6. Force Majeure or External Causes

Allyn Pacha Peru Tours is not responsible for cancellations caused by natural disasters, strikes, social protests, government decisions, or any other external event beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide support for rescheduling or alternatives when possible, but refunds are not guaranteed.
